Home Office and Garden

Bespoke garden office set within a landscaped garden with structured planting, lawn and seating areas designed for work, relaxation and entertaining.

The Home Office and Garden project by Bramley Apple Garden Design exemplifies our commitment to creating spaces that seamlessly blend functionality, beauty, and the needs of modern living.

At the heart of this design lies a bespoke garden office, carefully positioned to maximise both usability and aesthetic appeal. Our team focused on providing effortless access to the office, allowing clients to transition smoothly between work and relaxation. The structure itself is thoughtfully integrated into the surrounding landscape, ensuring it complements rather than dominates the natural environment. By balancing the garden office's presence, we maintained a sense of harmony and openness throughout the garden, encouraging a tranquil and inviting atmosphere for all who experience it.

Designed with the evolving needs of our clients in mind - both of whom work full time and frequently from home since the Covid pandemic - this garden provides a sanctuary for daily life. The rear garden benefits from natural shade, creating a cool and comfortable retreat that's ideal for outdoor dining, entertaining, and unwinding after a long workday. This space truly comes alive in the evenings and weekends, offering a welcoming setting for family and friends to gather, relax, and enjoy the outdoors in style.

The front garden, which extends gracefully along the side of the home, was re-envisioned to create a clear distinction between the front and side areas. Our redesign established a sunny, private courtyard-style space, perfect for those seeking a peaceful retreat away from the bustle of the street. This secluded area offers a tranquil spot for morning coffee, quiet reflection, or simply soaking up the sunshine in privacy. The thoughtful layout ensures each part of the garden has its own unique character while maintaining a cohesive overall design.

Staying true to the property’s distinctive character and architectural style, the front garden was designed to mirror the home’s unique geometry. The result is a visually striking lawn, shaped with intention and creativity, paired with carefully chosen plantings that enhance the landscape’s appeal year-round. Estate fencing lines the boundary, echoing the black detailing found on the house’s façade and tying the outdoor space to the architecture. This attention to detail ensures the garden feels both personal and harmonious, reflecting the clients’ tastes and the home’s identity.
